Ellipsis releases FALCON v3.3 to measure AI recommendation strength
Ellipsis released FALCON v3.3 with 14 data points per AI response, including recommendation strength, position, sentiment and framing.
Ellipsis released FALCON v3.3 with measurement for recommendation strength, position, sentiment and framing across AI-search answers.
What changed in FALCON v3.3?
FALCON v3.3 records 14 data points from each tracked AI response. The release measures whether an answer merely names a brand or actively recommends it, where the brand appears and how the answer describes it.
The additional fields include recommendation strength, recommendation position, sentiment and framing. They sit alongside citation and mention tracking rather than replacing it.
Why does recommendation strength matter?
A citation shows which source supported an answer. A mention shows that the answer named a brand. Neither result establishes that AI recommended the brand or made it the first choice.
Ellipsis uses the expanded measurement to separate visibility from commercial recommendation performance and to identify which parts of an answer changed after implementation.
